Grief Counseling
The experience of loss can feel incredibly isolating in a culture that struggles to talk about it. Often, we long for the simple presence of someone who isn’t afraid of our grief—someone who won’t turn away or feel overwhelmed, as so many do.
I am not afraid of your grief.
I know your world is spinning, and everything feels surreal. How can life keep moving when it feels like yours has stopped? Why do people throw hollow clichés at you as if they could ever be enough? I know you just want to sleep and wake up when it’s all over.
Grief is sacred, even though I know it feels far from that. It is a deeply human experience. None of us will move through this life without knowing it. I am honored to walk beside you as we sift through the wreckage and take those first uncertain steps toward what comes next. Because no one should have to face grief alone.
If you’d like to integrate creative modalities into your grief work that is always available, but it is not the only way I work with grief.
